ABOUT THE STUDIO
One of Milwaukee's Best Photography Studios by ABC/WISN's A List 2007, Gloss Photography Studios is located in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Gloss's business hours are Monday thru Friday 11:00a to 5:00p. Morning, evening, and weekend sessions are always available! It is very accessible from the highway or if you are coming from Downtown or the Northshore. The 1,000 sq. ft. studio is outfitted with many colorful and unique backdrops and trendy seating props. The studio only uses top of the line Canon equipment. The print and product labs Gloss uses are the most innovative and precise labs in the country. Gloss understands the importance of comfort and our studio is equipped with tons of space for you to let go. This beautifully designed studio includes an enclosed Conference Room and a new Video Proofing Area for viewing proofs on their large plasma. The studio is always prepared for its many different subjects including: maternity, newborn, children, high seniors, family, weddings, events, model, and business.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Jaci Sumner is a dedicated perfectionist to the arts. Jaci has a Bachelor of the Fine Arts- Photography degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has been very fortunate to study abroad in numerous countries for photography and fine arts. From her travels she has composed collections for local Milwaukee art galleries, photographing Chicago fashion shows, and model portfolios. Later, she accepted a position as Head Photographer of a portrait studio in the North Shore area, which lead her to discover her true passion for studio portraiture. Her photojournalistic style balances cutting edge and classic, which has distinguished Sumner and Gloss from competitor studios and has quickly made Gloss a favorite in Milwaukee. Her fine art portrait photography is very distinctive from fellow Milwaukee photographers. Her vanguard compositions and eye for perfection has created a name for her in the studio portraiture world. She has won numerous Awards of Excellence from the Professional Photographer's Association. Her photography specialties range from adorable newborns to fabulous brides. With Jaci's gallery collections throughout the Milwaukee area it has allowed her to give back to the community by donating a lot of her fine art photography to charity events, fundraisers, and hosting fundraisers at the studio. " I love the whole portrait experience", says Sumner, "From making clients laugh and have fun at their session to presenting their one-of-a-kind portraits and watching their faces light up and their eyes tear up with excitement is a truly amazing feeling". Beyond the obvious fact that Jaci loves what she does, she loves even more sharing her creative portraits with her clients!
