Since he was a youngster Seth Russell has been creating art. He has come a long way since his early days of crayons and play dough sculptures and now makes his illustrations with Sakura Micron pens and adobe photoshop. Seth creates his detail oriented illustrations utilizing hand inked artwork that he digitally paints and manipulates until he has a finished piece that reflects and conveys the idea behind it.
In 2002 Seth graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (AIP) with an associates degree in graphic design. He also has an associates in computer animation, which he obtained from AIP in 2000. Both degrees required extensive art courses that taught a wide range of skills, thus making his education well rounded. Although he has worked as a graphic designer since graduation, he is also pushing ahead and hopes to one day be able to work as an illustrator full time. For now, he is balancing his dual career and working very hard to produce the best work he is capable of. Where will Seth's future take him? Only time will tell.
