After receiving a BFA in Graphic Design from California State University Fullerton, Carrie went to work as an Art Director for an advertising agency, a job she truly loved.
In July 2000, Carrie made a major career change: she delivered her first healthy baby and became a full time mother. Within weeks, she bought her first point and shoot digital camera. " I spent countless hours staring at my precious miracle, snapping so many pictures because I wanted to absorb and preserve every amazing bit of him." Becoming a mother was the catalyst that caused her love of photography to blossom.
Two years later, after the birth of her twin girls, she decided to get a bit more serious. The point and shoot was replaced with a professional digital camera, and her beloved hobby was transformed into another career. "Capturing the raw beauty and innocence of children -- mine and others -- is a complete rush!"
Carrie specializes in newborns, babies and children. She is located in northern San Diego and travels to Orange County and Los Angeles - and even coast to coast!
