Nancy McClure Brockett is a self-taught expressionist artist painting "from the soul." Using oil, acrylic, watercolor crayon, and gouache, Brockett produces paintings rich in texture, color and shape that elicit viewer interaction.


Since she began painting in 2001, Nancy has exhibited in venues in Connecticut including five solo shows and numerous juried art exhibitions. Her work has been featured in the Hartford Courant and hangs both in national and international private collections.


In addition to her larger pieces, Nancy designs customized handpainted greeting cards for all occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, loss of a loved one, get well and personalized.)
