Otis P. Motley has been a professional photographer for more than 25 years. He graduated from the New York Institute of Photography located in New York City. He used his skills and knowledge to photograph children, sports, news and other events. Assignments have taken him from the United States to Europe. Mr. Motley realized early in his photographic career that he enjoyed capturing images of people and places. He donated his time to military school youth sports photography and community events.

Mr. Motley’s work has been published National and International. Mr. Motley’s work has been exhibited at Roxanne’s Artiques & Gallery, Historical Society, International Visions Gallery, Tubman-Mahan Gallery, Gallery Serengeti, Women’s National Democratic Club, and Vivid Solutions DC in Washington, DC., The Breast Care Center at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD., Waterford Homes Tour & Craft Exhibit Waterford, VA., The Art Institue of Washington Arlington, VA., Banneker-Douglass Museum Annapolis, MD., The Washington Gallery of Photography in Bethesda, MD., Museu Afro Brasil Sao Paulo, Brazil and Galariestueble DIENER in Erlenbach, Germany. His work has won several prizes. Mr. Motley received the Life Time Achievement Award from the International Freelance Photographers Organization. He is an active member of the Exposure Group, African American Photographers Association in Washington, DC, Professional Photographers of America, International Freelance Photographers Organization, American International News Service, and Washington Project for the Arts.
Mr. Motley is now a part-time Professional Freelance and Press Photographer in the Washington Metropolitan area, specializing in Art, Balls/Dances, Portraits, News, Sports, Special Events, Weddings, and Travel. He believes that everyone can be a model; therefore he takes his work personal and provides special attention to his clients.
