Brevity is indeed the soul of wit, and so I shall be brief.



I'm nuts.



Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you...



'He's nuts'.



I buck the trends and traditions of corporate America. Yet, throughout my professional career I have managed to successfully bridge the gap between the ideology of 'art' and 'corporate' mentalities. From my days teaching at Full Sail, to my time at the Orlando Sentinel, right up to present day, I continue to strive for improvement.



My father told me something years ago, which I carry with me to this day: 'The minute we stop learning is the minute we begin to die on the inside'. So I've tried to conduct my professional life in such a manner as to always be learning something new - even when I am teaching someone else. If nothing else, you can always learn how you don'twant to do something.



So why does this all make me nuts? Because the other thing I've learned along the way is that you never compromise your principles - even when that means you have to buck the system. Art and beauty, after all, are in the eye of the beholder :-)
