Since graduating from the London College of Fashion with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Studies, I have gained work placements as a designers/sample room assistant at both Michelle Lowe-Holder and Jane Mac-Millan. During which time I was selected to show my graduate collection 'Cut and Reveal' on the final day of Alternative Fashion Week 2005. I then worked freelance as a pattern cutter, sample cutter and machinist for new labels including Hemyca (womenswear). Then recently I have been employed as a sample cutter for designer Shirin Guild. Other qualifications include a BTEC HND in Fashion Design and Technology (specializing in textiles for fashion-embroidery) and previous experience helping backstage at London Fashion Week for Guvinda Singh and assisting at Zandra Rhodes with production room activities.
