Laura A. Dalesandro has been an established artist in the animation industry for over 10 years. A graduate of the The Pennsylvania State University Graphic Design Program, Laura headed for the Big Apple, where she began a career in animation. She started out working in New York City, and after some years of experience, traveled out to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Laura has worked on various productions such as Disney’s "PB &J Otter", "Doug", MTV’s "Spy Groove", "Daria", and Cartoon Network’s "Courage the Cowardly Dog", "Sheep in the Big City", "Evil Con Carne", "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy," and Nick Jr's "Wow, Wow, Wubbzy!" Currently, Laura is working on a new show at the Cartoon Network Studios, called "Chowder." This show will be on air in November 2007. Laura A. Dalesandro is also involved in concept design and writing for a preschool animated series. Besides working in the animation industry, Laura enjoys working on illustrations for greeting cards, and children's book art. She is also interested in working for children's magazines, educational children's art, scholastic, early teens magazines and books, and pet magazines. Laura is also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She is currently writing and illustrating a picture book for young readers.
