Hi! I'm Joy Baer, a 2004 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. Thank you for taking the time to view some of my work. The samples shown here are both school and client projects.
In addition to my degree, I obtain 4 years of experience freelancing for various businesses and individuals creating logo, tshirt, brochure and program layout designs and for the past 2 years have been employed by Time Out Chicago magazine working as both an image specialist and editorial designer. Programs I'm most proficient in include Adobe CS & CS2 Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I also have some experience with Quark Xpress and Dreamweaver.
