American Illustrator Jodell Sadleris a digital creative with a whimsical style. A freelance designer, writer, illustrator and former art director, she is currently accepting new projects. While focusing on the children's book market, she is looking for an opportunity to work to make your next illustration project sing. Whether it’s children’s books, magazines, greeting cards, advertising, CD covers, packaging or book layout, she will approach each new project with a fresh creative genius.



As a Highlights Foundation Alumni and freelance designer of 15+ years, Jodell has experience working with art directors and creative directors, designers and design studios, copywriters and other creative types to collaborate on freelance assignment and corporate projects. She resides in Rockton, IL, (driving distance to Chicago and Milwaukee) with her husband, Steve, their four kids, Ryne, Sever, Brett and Jenna, and their many pets: a guinea pig who plays dead, two golden retrieverss who like to shower whenever anyone is ready, four cats (one which thinks he is a dog), a parakeet and many goldfish.
