Biography
Jessica “Tink” Whiteside
My great love is art, and has been since a very young age. After graduating highschool I received a scholarship to attend the Academy of Art University, where I graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2004.
Since graduating I have been working as a freelance illustrator and gallery artist. Some of my greatest accomplishments as an artist and illustrator have been curated shows and shown work in galleries around California consistantly for over 4 years. I've created over 50 illustrations and website icons for Elaborative Technologies INC. I also produced 250 square foot outdoor mural commissioned by The House of Bagels. I've done private commissions and freelance projects, branding identity and logo design for various clients.
As an artist I specialize in pin-ups and images of women. My style is photo-realistic with story telling elements and graphic backgrounds and shapes. Though my style is defined, I am a very versatile artist, and have expert skills in everything from traditional illustration to digital media.
Through the many outlets I use to express myself I work towards constantly trying to push the boundaries of what it means to live as an artist and propel my work beyond the realms of my own imagination.
