One of us was too old and the other just too candid to work for someone else anymore. So we started our own agency - Hummingbird. As a young boy I was always intrigued by the image of the tiny yellow bird painted on the powerful locomotive that pulled the Hummingbird passenger train between New Orleans and Mobile. I thought it would be a great name for our agency because we're small and what we do can be so powerful. My partner agreed, because he always wanted to do a logo with a train in it.
