Artist, Carl Hultman, graduated from Cooper School of Art in Ohio. He opened his art studio in 1971 in Erie, PA to pursue his professional career of Technical Illustrator and Photo Restoration Specialist. He earned his living as a free lance commercial artist, but continued to pursure his passion for fine art painting. Carl moved to Raleigh, NC in 1986 to continue his professional career working with advertising agencies, graphic designers, and art studios. In 2002 he moved to New Bern, NC to semi-retire, and now devotes full time to painting. "Each day brings new creativity, with paint and canvas and so much inspiration from the surrounding areas." Carl is a dedicated self taught artist and moves freely from portraits to landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, floral paintings etc., using oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. More recently, signed and numbered Giclee prints are available of his original art.
