I have always liked the contrast of light and dark in my work and this technique i use called "Fillart" (filler and art) really exentuates this effect because of the 3D aspect. I think my work would look great in any modern room. These pieces really do make you stop and stare just because of the depth that the wood filler gives to the painting.
