Eugene or Heuge to friends is one hairstylist and make-up artist who provides his clients with the most up-to-date and top quality professional service. His workmanship speaks of the highest quality achieved through passion for work and a strong commitment to ongoing education.

Eugene graduated Bachelor of Arts major in General Science at the Philippine Christian University and Hairdressing and Advance Make-up Course from the Academy of Elegance Performing and Social Arts. He is also adept at various software programs such as Photoshop for retouching, altering collages, manipulating and creating images for print and the web, PowerPoint, and Mircrosoft Word. A believer of continuing education to improve his craft, Eugene attends seminars and trainings here and abroad. These are the Nioxin Biotechnical Study (Bangkok, 1995) conducted by Roy Bashforth and Eva Graham and Cosmoproof International and Loreal Hongkong Salon Interactions-Colorist Expert (Hongkong, 1998 and 1999). While his local training have been on Loreal Technical and Artistic Seminar (1992) conducted Cathy Monnier and George Bacon, and Manila Givency Glamour Make-up (1992) conducted by David Ressineaux, and Toni and Guy Hair Trends (1997) conducted by Andrew Hartman and Anthony Moscolo.

To date, Eugene works as Creative Director in Hairbytes in Katipunan. He was Senior Hair and Make-up Artist in James Cooper Phase VI and David’s Salon from 1991 to 1993 and from 1993 to 1998, respectively. He was the Make-up Director to the PCU Theatre from 1986 to 1991. He also taught Hair Science and Biology in Mirriam College’s Adult Education Program in 1995.

Eugene doesn’t rest in his laurels of awards he received from 1987 to date ranging from Ladies Cut Champion and Kaleidoscope Award from Pivot Point International and Pivot Point Colourist of the Year Champion, respectively (both in 1987),Double Finalist to Avant Garde for the Hairdresser of the Year Award (1988)Finalist commercial, Double Finalist both Ladies Commercial and Avant Garde to Hairdresser of the Year and Swarzkopf Hairdresser Award (1999), and second runner-up and Gaiety Figure for Loreal Colour Trophy (1999 and 2001).

Born on September 7, 1968 in Cagayancillo, Palawan, Eugene loves visiting and participating in art exhibits. He has graced a number of hairshows as well.
