Eka Gotsiridze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia.
She graduated from Tbilisi State Academy
of Fine Arts with MA degree in Fashion Design.
During the studies Eka designed
costumes for ballet-films "Improvisation"
and "Divertissements",participated in numerous
student Fashion shows in Georgia, Russia, Estonia,
Yugoslavia and Italy.
She has also produced the TV film "Fashion of the
20-th century".

After graduation Eka started working as a fashion
designer in clothing company "Akhalgazrduli".
She has also taught fashion illustration at the
Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1993 Eka moved to Cyprus.
Thanks to very good drawing skills she had
an opportunity to work not only on various creative
projects, such as designing corporate clothing style
for Zeus Travel, but also on creating storyboards for
the corporate parties and was comissioned to draw
series of illustrations for an Annual report of the
Bank of Cyprus. She has also participated in numerous
art exhibitions, presenting her oil paintings and has
done quite a lot comissioned works for art collectors.

From 2001 Eka lived and worked in Georgia.
During this period she produced small series
of hand made felt coats, wich had been sold throught the
boutiques in London.She has also created trendy designs
for the stuff of the "Adjara" nightclub in Tbilisi.In 2004/2006
Eka did a solo shows of her new prints and specially designed
mirrors and frames at TAGISS ART Gallery.
She has also done a freelance work as a graphic designer
for Nova Science Publishers(book covers) and fashion illustrations
for AMARTA magazine (five page spread).
In 1999 Eka became a member of "Georgian Artist's Union"
and was included in "Encyclopedia of Georgian Artists".

Currently Eka lives in Cyprus and
continues collaboration with TAGISS ARTS Gallery.
