Born and raised in Hobart, Tasmania, Laird has spent the majority of his life (so far) as a professional musician travelling extensively through Europe, US and Australia. Owing to extreme tiredness and a distaste for malodorous hotel rooms, Laird retired from the high life and settled in New York City where he now creates award winning illustrations for editorial, corporate and advertising clients throughout the world.
