I am a third year student at OCAD, studying Illustration. I enjoy being imaginitive with details in my artwork, as well as creating fantasy scenes and characters. I also have worked creating clip art graphics for clients, coloured using CorelDRAW 9. My creative process involves researching for reference materials and brainstorming connections with the purpose of their use (Eg. client and audience). For more complex, conceptual images, I sometimes research the symbolism connected with the subject matter. However, the drawings I do in my spare time are generally conceived from mythology, fantasies, or impossible realities, influenced by the sometimes exaggerated or flowing look of Japanese art.
