Carlynn has been painting and drawing since childhood. After studying Italian as an undergraduate and theology in graduate school, Carlynn received a degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is currently pursuing work in the children's publishing world, particularly picture books. She writes and illustrates her own stories using a variety of media. In addition to children's picture books, Carlynn has designed logos and promotional t-shirts. She has experience in stop-motion animation and character design. She is familiar with a wide variety of digital imaging programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; Flash, AfterEffects, and FinalCutPro.
