I’m living in Ireland for a while. But this could change at any rate so it worth to be checked.

why photography?

Because I like to take pictures. I learned that pleasure must be together with the work (or maybe before). And to be a photographer is a huge pleasure for me.

the photographer

Working in a hotel in the brazilian Pantanal, I discovered Nature photography - which later became my passion - through many good professional photographers and their wild life shots. When I left the hotel about two years ago I decided I would like to be a photographer. I got my first camera (Nikon N-55) and took a few good courses back in Brazil.

I moved to Ireland last February and started do dedicate myself exclusively to photography. The result of my efforts started to appear last week when the picture "Nevando" (Snowing) taken in Dublin last winter received Honourable Mention in the "XXIV Bienal de Arte Fotográfica Brasileira em Preto e Branco" (a bi-annual exhibition of black and white photography).
