For eight years, I served as the head ad layout artist & graphic designer for the Ortho-Flex Saddle Co., Inc., in Nevada, Missouri. I was responsible for the graphic arts, digital imaging, proofing, editing, typesetting, and composition of literally hundreds of print-media advertising campaigns. My experience ranges from, award-winning, mult-page, full-color, magazine advertisements and product catalogs to simple, inexpensive B&W brochures and flyers.
I have a considerable degree of expertise working with PageMaker, Multi-Ad Creator, Photoshop, Rhino, and Chief Architect. A number of my past projects for Ortho-Flex received national recognition from such noted industry leaders as Adobe Systems, Eastman Kodak, Heidelberg Press, the Readex Corporation. I'm also well versed in the areas of architectural rendering and virtual home staging.
Throughout the 1990's, Ortho-Flex was recognized as the world's largest manufacturer of custom saddles, tack and riding accessories. My work can be seen in several of the more popular equine sporting magazines of that period, such as Horse & Rider, Western Horseman, and Dressage.
In addition to my past experience with Ortho-Flex, I currently outsource my services as a freelance graphic designer, architectural renderer, virtual stager, and imaging specialist using the latest IBM/Macintosh systems and software.
Prior to my becoming a professional graphic artist, I worked as an independent property and catastrophe insurance adjuster. To this day, I maintain ties with that profession.
