Alexander Isley Inc. was founded in 1988 and has evolved into a nine-person brand development and communication design firm with offices in Georgetown, CT.

We are experts in brand development and communication design for organizations involved with culture, fashion and retail. We work with companies and institutions to help craft their brand personalities and introduce them to the public. Our teams of designers, writers and strategists work among all disciplines to establish and convey a consistent voice, attitude, and point of view.

Alex and our staff of designers have created effective, award-winning work for a diverse range of clients including Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas, Giorgio Armani, Aéropostale, El Palacio de Hierro, Reebok, Starbucks, Discovery Communications/Animal Planet, Toys “R” Us, Linens N Things, Chevron Texaco, Accenture, Deloitte., PepsiCo, the Museum of the Moving Image, United States Green Building Council and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, to name a few.

Examples of Alexander Isley Inc.’s work are represented in the permanent collection of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, the Smithsonian Institution’s national design museum and the YCS Design Library in Japan. The firm’s work has also been exhibited at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris and The New York Art Directors’ Club. Designs Isley collaborated on while at M&Co. are in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the archives of the Library of Congress.
