Biography

I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in ’87 from Jewelry and Light Metals. I still design with a jeweler's eye. However the scale of my work quickly grew to include cabinet hardware, lighting and other objects for the home. I still design on paper…with a pencil! I use carving and hand forging to create objects that must feel as good as they look. The goal is to engage and please the hand.

The Providence area has been my home since 1983. I love the refreshment of nature and the industrial mark of mankind that is combined in Southern New England.

This spoon series is a result of celebrations with friends and relatives across the country that are embracing homemaking and welcoming babies into their lives.
