Susan Saltzman earned a BFA in Graphic Design & Illustration from the University of Michigan in 1983. She worked as an illustrator in the creative studios of American Greetings until the birth of her twins in 1990. Shortly thereafter Susan formed SmARTwork Studio, Inc., which specializes in whimsical illustrations and playful graphic design. With SmARTwork, Susan continued to create designs for American Greetings, and added many small and large clients to her roster including Bonne Bell, Century Products, Creativity for Kids and Dundee Mills. Susan's designs have appeared on countless greeting cards, gift wraps, party goods, web sites, children's clothing, packaging, art kits, infant hard goods, giftware, magnets, balloons, t-shirts, rubber stamps, coloring books, book jackets, newspapers, bibs, theatre programs, brochures, lamps and fabrics. Her kids are most impressed by the fact that she designed the Bonne Bell Lipsmackers logo.
