Stephen Sheffield received his BFA from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, with a major in painting. He later received his MFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA, with a concentration in photography. He has shown in regional and national galleries for the past 12 years, and is represented in Boston by the Judi Rotenberg Galley. He has taught photography in various capacities for 8 years, and is currently on the faculty at the New England School of Photography teaching advanced black and white portfolio. His professional work pulls from his artistic experience and his projects include; magazine illustration, advertising, fashion, portraiture, film and large scale commissioned photomontages for corporations and individuals.
