Simon began his career at Young & Rubicam, London, before moving to Saatchi & Saatchi, where he won awards on a variety of accounts.
After a brief spell at RSCG, he moved to Lowe, where he became a Creative Director and Head of Copy. Freelance since 1995, Simon has worked all over the world (physically and virtually!) for many of the world's top ad agencies, on many of the world's most famous brands, especially Automotive, Alcohol, Charities and Financial.
As much in demand for his writing skills as his creative directing, Simon has experience in advertising, direct, interactive/digital and specialises in through the line projects for major brands. As a writer, Simon has written for advertising, direct, POS, and websites, as well as company reports, speeches, scripts for conferences and presentations, and journalism.
Simon's many advertising awards include New York One Show Gold, Cannes Silver Lion, a Eurobest Grand Prix and 6 Campaign Award Silvers. Simon has had more than 20 pieces of work entered in the prestigious D&AD Awards, and has been a juror 3 times. Simon had his own column in the Australian advertising magazine Campaign Brief, and will be a Member of D&AD's Executive Committee from 2006-2009.
