I have had this fantasy about mathematics since I was little. I could have fun myself in my fantasy, which all different lines, angles, and numbers were floating. I wanted to express these lines and angles in reality rather than just in my fantasy. At RISD, I was able to create these in my jewelry work. I believe that this influenced a lot to my work, which are mostly constructed by lines and angles. It is very fascinating how lines and angles could create lots of unique shapes. Also, I like to work with thin sheet of silver in big scale. I always enjoyed seeing people wearing my jewelry work. I desire my work to be close to people rather than being work of art. I am looking forward to being jewelry designer after graduating RISD.
