Roger Xavier's scratchboard illustrations have been commissioned for a variety of media usage including logos, billboard graphics, product rendering, newspaper and collateral advertising, book illustration and package design. His work has been accepted into several award shows including The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles' (Gold and Silver Medals in B&W), Annual Report 100 awards show, Creativity, Print's Regional Design Annual, and the Mead Paper awards.
Roger is equally adept in several line styles: fine/realistic, stylized/woodcut and bold/graphic. Much of his work is inspired by etchings, engravings and comic book influences. The goal is matching the right style for maximum effect and reproduction.
