In the short but sweet version, I went to Arizona State University and studied Architecture. I never was a “reincarnation of Frank Lloyd Wright” when it came to design, but with experience and learning from the masters in the field, I became a very good Project Manager for various Architectural firms around Phoenix, AZ. After about 12 years I realized my passion was the photography I was doing as a hobby and for some of the firms I worked at.
I had just got married so I thought, “what the heck, lets start a new career”! My wife was very supportive, and still is 11 years later. Photographing for architects, designers, developers, magazines and retail companies, I travel around the country and Mexico shooting interiors and exteriors of just about anything that relates to architecture and the built environment.
The understanding of architecture and construction has strengthened my ability to visualize what a client is trying to portray on a particular project. Listening to clients needs and the ability to understand the scope of the marketing requirements are essential to a successful photographic project.
I have photographed private residences, hi-rise condominiums, commercial office, retail, restaurants, shopping malls, hotels, golf course communities, and equestrian communities and even on location buses!
I mainly shoot hi-res digital but once in a blue moon get film requests and I am experienced in photoshop enough to be dangerous. I look forward to talking with you about your next project!
