Richard Rethemeyer has always been fascinated by the process of photography. He not only enjoys working in the darkroom with a century old process, he is equally comfortable with the latest in digital photography. He brings with him twenty years of work as a professional photographer, and treats every project as a new experience. Richard has completed many years of studio assignments as well as locations. Trained mainly as a photojournalist, Richard has always found travel and environmental portraits his passion. Writing, he feels, helps in sharpening his vision. Richard Rethemeyer lives and works in San Francisco, California. His fine art is represented in Santa Fe, New Mexico by Gerald Peters Gallery.
