I've been in the graphics field from when it was still phototypesetting. I've learned from there forward and have come to appreciate the intricacies of typography. I love to play with kerning and tracking. It is not enough to just set a line of type. There's so many things that can be done with it to make it more attractive. I believe this makes me a better typographer because of those intricacies. I understand that is just one facet of the package but this is an important facet. Correct color usage and composition are equally important facets along with others to make a truly impactful piece.
