Returning to the art of drawing and painting after a huge 8 year gap Joanna Henly’s alter ego, ‘miss led’ was conceived in may 2006 as a tentative platform and springboard to a more playful and whimsical style of expression. and the business launched in august 2007!



disciplined in, and lecturer of, fine art, joanna henly’s, trajectory lay in developing and exploring a style that encompassed a love of print, comic strip, pop art, 80’s pattern books and the pre-raphaelite muse.

Still in the embryonic stages of creating missy has a string of successes under her belt. being the only female street artist in london and winning the secretwars battle in september 07 she has been invited to create art on walls in exhibitions and shows as well as tv studios and boutiques. she has graced the pages of books and magazines in london, europe, and also in california. creating a name globally miss led is keen to keep moving and growing through developing new experience and embracing fresh challenges. missy sees her style adapting to character development, on stationery and cards, packaging and advertising, flyer art and publishing.
