Raised near the shoreline of Connecticut, artist and designer Michele Starzec-Ducharme, of MSD Design, received her BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University. Her interest in home & garden and nature influence her artwork. This work is executed in a variety of media, including markers. gouache, colored pencil, pen & ink, and ,more recently,collage. Subject matter is appropriate for a wide selection of markets, such as Fine Art prints: greeting cards & stationery; paper products; book illustration; packaging; and fabric & wallcovering design.
