Melissa Napier graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 with a BFA in Film, Animation, Video. After almost five years working at Deos Animation Studios in Lawrence, MA, she decided to head to the west coast where she now resides in San Diego and is continuing her education with Animation Mentor.
At Deos, Melissa worked on the animated children's TV series, Ribert and Robert's WonderWorld, now airing on Public Television. As Lead Character Animator, Melissa animated Ribert, the cute dancing toad. She also led a team of 2-d animators as Animation Supervisor.
Melissa is currently seeking animation work in the San Diego area. Melissa's goal is to be a character animator for a major animated motion picture...and to meet MacGyver.
