Born in Palermo in 1972, since I was very young I have alwais felt a big artistic charge thanks to my homeland. After a diploma in Teatrical scenography at the Accademy of Arts in Palermo, I attended from 1997 to1999 the Theather laboratory of Mimmo Cuticchio, where I had the chance to explore the pittorical and theatrical tradition of the sicilian marionettes operas. In 2001 I attended the 15° edition of the " Mask in the Art Comedy" in witch I have learned the theory and the history, morphology and creation of the theatrical mask. Starting with the study of traditional, figurative and theatrical art my interest as evolved in the years ti the distintive artistic expressions of other cultures, with particular for shadows, marionettes and mask that I have made and still make for many theatrical shows.
Recently I engage my passion for painting and narration with my illustration work.
