Contemporary American illustrator Marc Tobin attained his Associates Degree at Keystone College in La Plume,
Pennsylvania. He then went on to acquire a B.F.A. with an emphasis on
illustration and animation, at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Shortly thereafter in 1993, Marc relocated to San Diego, California and began his career as an illustrator.
Marc has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of Advertising agency, corporate, editorial and entertainment industry clients, including name brand accounts such as McDonald's, KFC, 7-Eleven, Chevron, Texaco/Shell, FedEx, Kinkos, ComputorEdge Magazine, Salvation Army, Safeway, SBC, Jiffylube, Wells Fargo, McGraw Hill, Accenture and Sea World.
While well-versed in traditional mediums such as Acrylic and Colored Pencil,
Marc's experience in the digital arena is extensive. With a vast knowledge of software including
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Microsoft Frontpage and others, MTillustration
produces a wide array of creative imagery consisting of magazine covers, book jackets, plus poster and cd cover illustration and design, logos / branding / corporate ID, business cards / brochures / sales collateral, banners, murals, signs, ads, flyers, icons, website graphics and animation.
In 2002, he returned to the Northeastern USA, made a home in Pennsylvania and continues to work as a freelance illustrator out of his PA illustration studio. For over ten years, Marc's artistic medium
of choice has been Photoshop. Utilizing this, as well as other programs, he has created an abundance of imagery ranging from magazine, book and poster illustrations, to video game animation and webpage graphics.
