Manelle graduated with a BFA in illustration from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and has worked as a freelance illustrator for a year and a half. In that time she has enjoyed creating illustrations for magazines, stickers, bookmarks, educational publishing, and theater posters. She would especially love creating work for the children’s book market including book covers, and interiors for Young Adult and Middle Grade novels, as well as picture books, games, and cards.



She enjoys working in many mediums including watercolors, digital painting, colored prismacolor pencils, and black-line work in pencil, and ink. she loves drawing people, children, buildings, animals, designing characters, and pretty much drawing anything fun. Some of her favorite subject matter includes, historical, fairy tales, ((fairytales), folk tales, and tall tales narrative, conceptual, religious, fantastic, and contemporary illustrations. I have worked extensively with Manelle on several projects related to play productions at our Empress Theatre in Magna, Utah.
