Patrick Klauss is a Toronto based photographer who has traveled extensively over the last fifteen years and has always been drawn to “sacred spots” around the world. He has a photojournalistic style and an artistic view point that he uses to creatively document his journeys.
Patrick’s preferred medium is traditional black and white photography. He collaborates with master printer Shozo Ushiroguchi to create quality “old school” black and white prints that can be used as fine art photography and prints in home and commercial interior spaces.
His images have been used for calendars and shirt graphics. They also lend themselves very well to book and CD cover art, editorial projects, travel documentation and fine art prints and cards. Patrick’s work is available for licensing and for purchase as fine art photographic prints.
Patrick chose to name his photo products company Kleno in honor of his grandfather, Bohumil Klenovec. Kleno was his grandfather’s nickname when he played professional soccer in Rennes, France in the 1930s.
