In 2000 Kenn Shinabery moved to New York City to work on a feature film. Since then he has been working in the film, television and commercial industry.
Kenn has performed many roles including Production Coordinator, Talent Coordinator, Casting Coordinator, 1st Assistant Director, Assistant Art Director, etc. He has also worked heavily in the Creative Development Department and Art/Props Department.
Not only has Kenn worked behind the camera, he has also crossed over to the other side of the camera as well. He has appeared not only on American Television but on German Television as well. He has appeared in a German music video for the group Rapsoul, and briefly appeared on Germany's Popstars: du und ich.
At a young age Kenn began creating art. His artwork has appeared on networks such as Nickelodeon, Logo, CBS, etc. He has created graphics for Nickelodeon's U-Pick Live, Logo's Big Gay Sketch Show, and the Ellen Degeneres Show. His work has been seen in commercial ad campaigns for companies such as Papa Johns. He also has designed graphics for Bravado Inc's 2010 Harley Davidson Collection.
He has established himself as a designer and has designed graphics for television, print, and fashion. His artwork is versatile and appeals to multiple audiences. Kenn stays on top of current design trends, as well as urban / street art.
Kenn is also trained in the aspects of character design and development.
He has also become an accomplished photographer. His photos from his travels show that he has an unique eye and that he sees the world in a different perspective.
In 2008 he married a German girl. He has since completed his Level 2 (A1.2) German course at New York University's Deutsches Haus. He plans on continuing his studies of the German language.
Kenn is really interested in German Film/Television Industry and the German Design World.
