As Whitney Houston once sang, “The children are our future…” and thus Ken has, of late, geared his art towards the children’s market. But he has done other things as well.
Ken has storyboarded for television while working with Will Vinton Studios (now known as Laika) in Portland, OR. He received his training in storyboarding from Disney Studios and studied illustration at Art Center in Pasadena, CA.
Ken likes to bring a sense of “fun” to his pictures. Whether by telling an amusing story within the image or by trying to reach an emotional impact through color and texture. He likes to write stories with pictures. (And if you like, he’ll string several pictures together and give you a book.)
One day, he’ll put a book together. You’ll see.
