I graduated from GRCC with an AA with honors and from CWU with a BA in graphic design this summer. I spent my summer doing an internship at Pacific Science Center in Seattle, WA. After the internship was done I did some freelance work for them. I prefer to do illusrtations and specilize in an anime and cartoon like style, although I can do different.
It is in my opinion that art should be something that you enjoy doing even if it is for commercial purposes. While I know that we can’t always get to work on projects that we would enjoy doing I think it is important to look at any project not from the stand point of it being what you want, or what you have to do. Instead we should look at it as it’s own entity that can help us to grow and add more diversity to our own style and tastes in graphic design.
