Joshua Beach, an aviation enthusiast, grew up in the central Florida area.
There he attended Lois Cowles Harrison Center for the Visual & Performing Arts for his High School Diploma from 1990-94. While there, he developed skills with all mediums of fine art. From watercolor to oils, pencils to digital art.
Joshua won several state awards for fine art as well as awards from the 12th congressional art competition. He also was a recipient of a state grant for art awareness along with one of his pieces being chosen to be used for a billboard to promote the arts.
Joshua then went on to earn an AS Degree in 1996 in commercial art with a minor in video production from Tampa Technical Institute. He was awarded a scholarship towards his degree.
Since 1996, Joshua has worked for several major screen print facilities and has been published numerous times. Over the past several years Joshua has fine tuned his graphic skills. Developing an extremely high-end approach to photo-realistic Illustration and Digital Airbrushing.
The majority of his subjects include: children's books, animals, space, logo dress-ups, surf designs, and theme park designs.
However, Joshua's true passion lies in aviation artwork. As a lover of aviation since the age of five, aircraft have been the driving force of his artwork inspiration. Joshua is a liscenced pilot with a huge aviation database. He attends many airshows throughout the year. He carries his own private collection of thousands of photos that he has taken himself, along with a vast multitude of different aviation publications.
