Los Angeles, California-based lifestyle advertising and environmental portraiture photographer Ian Spanier was born in Connecticut, raised in Westchester, New York. At age 6, Spanier's interest in photography began when he received his first camera. Currently he resides in West Hollywood, CA and is available for assignment in New York, California, and any other location accessible by plane, train, car, horse, camel, or mule.


His work has appeared in Marie Claire, Esquire, Muscle & Fitness, Men's Journal, US Weekly, Backpacker, Los Angeles Magazine, and Guitar One to name a few. Advertising clients include eBay, The Young Adult Institute and American International Beauty.
