Hugo de Wolf is a Dutch based professional photographer, who has worked for multinational companies and organizations throughout the world. An Industrial Design Engineer by education, Hugo’s clients include Corus, one of the worlds’ largest steel manufacturers and the International Iron and Steel Institute.
Because of Hugo’s technical background, industrial, corporate and process photography is in high demand from manufacturers, but also from consumer goods OEM companies. Hugo has been shooting in studios, but also on location. He captured the aftermath of the Bam (Iran) earthquake for the UN World Food Programme, and also recorded the way of life in factories in Europe and Asia. Next to his assigned work, Hugo designs and produces calendars, books and custom made specialty prints that have just that little extra.
The creative processes involved in design, visualizing the client’s ideas in concepts and tangible products, also apply to photography, where the product in question is a photographic image. This explains why Hugo’s work is versatile in subject, style and situation.
As his network has continuously expanded, he also gained international recognition, having won many prestigious international photography awards and recommendations.
Hugo’s clients and critics describe his work as versatile, iconic, clean, driven and powerful. He is available for corporate and technological documentary series, product photography, (travel) editorials, stock, specialty photos and prints, such as extremely large prints and panoramic images, as well as creative portraiture and on demand (custom made) photo databases.
