Along with Spain’s Master of Color, HispanArt is proud to bring to Denver pieces by Carmelo Sobrino, currently one of the most recognized and distinguished painters of Puerto Rico, recently commissioned to paint the vestibule of the most important museum of Puerto Rico (Museo de Ponce), where is currently showing his own works.
Paintings from Alexander Rosado, another admired painter from the Caribbean island, plus three female fine artists who are also from Puerto Rico: Olga Lang, Ana Victoria Vidal and Delvis G. Ortiz, recently seen in San Juan will bring their unique artistic vision of the Hispanic culture and the feminine soul: from the image of the “Three Queens”—rather than the traditional “Three Kings of the Nativity”, their unique and poignant blend of realism and fantasy as well as the universally abstract representations of the female soul.
View bronze sculptures and paintings by Gloria Vialpando of New Mexico will bring the maternal and the feminine with her unique sense of Hispanic sensibility, grace and color. Finally, the works of local painter Charles Chavez will blend realism and mysticism in unparalleled and stunning images, while the stylized portraiture of emerging artist Rebecca Rosales offers up a warm and compassionate creative sensibility.
