My interest in photography began as a student at Oregon State University working for the student publications. After graduating in 1995 with a degree in Russian, I traveled extensively, photographing in places such as Russia, Mongolia, Morocco and China. Since opening my studio, I have covered events for local publications, as well as commercial work for national organizations such as Grocer's Insurance Group and the Boy Scouts of America.
All of my work is done on location, using either natural light or strobes. I use both 35mm and medium format systems, as well as the Nikon D-1 for digital. I send clients film originals, or I can digitize the images here and send them on a CD or by email.
