Canadian born painter and illustrator Deborah Uman-Sures has worked professionally as an art director, a designer and a children's book illustrator.

Currently painting/illustrating/designing full-time, the artist welcomes new commissions and inquiries.

She has taught painting, drawing, illustration and design history in the Canadian Prairies and most recently at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in Toronto.

While paintings by Deborah Uman-Sures are mainly private collections in North America (some selected works in France)a broad range of images appear in books, film, galleries and advertising.
