Constanze studied at the Bauhaus University in Germany, did a semester abroad at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and finished her studies at the HAW in Hamburg, majoring in children's book illustration. Her work has been shown in several exhibitions in Germany, France, Italy, the UK and the US.
As a freelance illustrator, she is working with children's book publishers, theater companies, magazines and musicians, creating children's books, book
covers, CD covers, posters, portraits and paintings.
Her working techniques include acrylic, color pencils and oil crayons. The style of her illustrations is whimsical, lively, rich in textures and colors. She loves details and characters that show a strong personality.
