Bruce Niemi has been a professional fulltime sculptor for over 20 years. Creating his first welded sculpture in 7th grade, he hasn't stopped since. Raised in Gurnee, IL, now living in Kenosha, WI. Bruce has public sculpture across the country in such places as, Los Alamos, NM, Sunnyvale, CA, Cary, NC, Worth, IL, Vernon Hills, IL , Chicago Heights, IL, St. Charles, IL, and Wausau, WI. He has placed work in privates residences across the country including Boca Raton, Fl, Miami, FL Ft. His biography follows: The sculptures I create are characterized by their positive nature, a reflection of my personality. My faith in God, the energy and grace of athletics, the balance and flow of dance, and the beauty and power of nature are my inspiration. My goal is to stimulate and exercise the mind of you the viewer, as well as creating a sculpture that compliments the environment in which it resides. I work primarily in stainless steel and bronze, occasionally raw stone is used. My work ranges in size from tabletop, wall sculptures, freestanding indoor and outdoor, to monumental.
