Located near Chicago with her artist/photographer husband Chad, Beth is emerging into her professional freelance career. Though hardly a newcomer to the scene, she has spent the last 7 years working as an in-house illustrator, graphic designer & web designer. Her experience working along side both creative directors & marketing professionals has equipped her with the right knowledge of the industry along with conceptual and creative strength.

Beth works in several distinct styles and media. Some of her work is done with acrylic on canvas, pape or wood, while others are hand drawn pencil and ink drawings that are digitally colored. No matter what tool she picks up, her illustrations always have an inviting innocence to them. When most people look at her artwork (just read the viewer comments on her blog), they feel inspired, charmed, nostalgic, or happy. A common thread in her illustrations are people, animals and nature and she sweetly captures the connection and simple moments between them.

Specializing in editorial and fine art, her whimsical light-hearted illustrations in their slightly vintage but fresh color palettes are perfectly suited for children's publications as well.
